A Camden County criminal-record search needs the state as well as the county. Camden County, Georgia has a Superior Court Clerk search and certified-copy service. Camden County, New Jersey has a Criminal Division records room in the Hall of Justice. Check the state and court caption on the case papers; these are separate systems and do not represent every Camden County.
Use an existing case number whenever possible. If you have only a name, compare the available identifiers and case dates before attaching the result to a person. Decide whether you need a charge, an order ending the case, a sentencing document or a certified copy. The request should identify that filing rather than assume a matching name or an arrest allegation establishes a conviction.
Open Camden County’s Criminal Court Information page and follow Civil & Criminal Online Records Search. The linked portal currently presents a username and password login. Use the portal’s authorized access process, or contact the Criminal Records Division if you do not have access; the presence of a link does not establish that every document is freely downloadable without an account.
The Criminal Records Division is at 210 East 4th Street, Woodbine, GA 31569, with telephone 912-576-5631. Its published hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Give staff the case identifier, defendant name and the exact document sought if the online record is missing, unclear or unavailable in the format you need.
Use the clerk’s Request for Certified Copies of Court Records form. It asks for the parties’ names, criminal offense date and arrest charge, type of document and copy count, plus your name, mailing address and phone number. The form lists $2.50 for the first page and $0.50 for each additional page. Call 912-576-5631 to determine the actual page count and total before mailing payment.
Enclose a check or money order payable to Clerk of Superior Court and a self-addressed stamped return envelope; do not send cash. For USPS, mail to Clerk of Superior Court, P.O. Box 550, Woodbine, GA 31569. For FedEx or UPS, use 210 East 4th Street, Woodbine, GA 31569. The physical and postal destinations are different, so choose the one matching the carrier.
For an electronic certified document, follow the county’s GSCCCA eCertification instructions to ecert.gsccca.org and create an account. Start a new request, choose Camden County and the document type, and complete the required fields. After the clerk processes the request, the status changes to awaiting final payment authorization. Complete that authorization only after reviewing the charge; the finished request arrives as a secured PDF with an authentication link.
The electronic service accepts requests around the clock, but the notice does not promise immediate clerk processing. For other formats, the published schedule lists ordinary copies at $0.50 per page unassisted or $1 per page with assistance, and electronic or fax copies at $2.50 for the first page plus $1 for each additional page. Those ordinary electronic-copy prices should not be assumed to be an all-inclusive eCertification checkout quote.
New Jersey Courts lists Camden’s Criminal Records Room at Camden County Hall of Justice, 101 South 5th Street, Camden, NJ 08103. Call 856-379-2200, extension 3364. Have the indictment, accusation, complaint or other case number and the requested document name available. If staff identify a municipal court as the custodian, request that court’s record rather than assuming all lower-level matters are in one county file.
Use New Jersey Judiciary Records Request Form CN 10200 and identify Camden County, the appropriate division, the case and the particular documents. If the criminal case number is unknown, provide the requested defendant-identification information you know rather than inventing a number. Indicate the preferred delivery method and whether you need an ordinary copy, a court seal, certification with or without a seal, or an exemplified copy.
The Judiciary Electronic Document Submission system, JEDS, accepts court-record requests. Use a computer or laptop; its guidance says it does not work on mobile devices. Register if necessary, or use an existing New Jersey Courts login. Requests can be submitted at any time, but processing takes place on weekdays during normal court business hours, excluding holidays and recesses.
The current records-request form lists $0.05 per letter-size page and $0.07 per legal-size page for ordinary copies. Certification, seals and exemplification bring additional charges. Ask the Camden records room to confirm the requested format, payable amount and delivery arrangement before sending funds; a docket printout is not automatically a certified disposition.
Camden County, Georgia warns that its Board of Commissioners NextRequest portal is only for the listed county-administration departments. It does not replace a request to the court clerk for a criminal proceeding. For sheriff background, incident or inmate information, the county directs readers to the Sheriff’s Office’s separate NextRequest portal; questions go to 912-510-5100. A sheriff report and the court’s final disposition answer different questions.
If the search finds the proceeding but not the document, ask its custodian whether the filing is available by request, restricted, or held elsewhere. State exactly which charge and outcome you need verified. Keep the issuing court and document date alongside the result, and describe any unresolved identity or access gap instead of substituting a definitive personal-history claim.
